Why do I have to?

The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 state:

Every employer shall appoint one or more competent persons to assist him in undertaking the measures he needs to take to comply with the requirements and prohibitions imposed upon him by or under the relevant statutory provisions and by Part II of the Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations 1997.

What do I get?

• Review and update existing Health, Safety and Environmental policy documents
• Review existing method statements and risk assessments
• Provide help with how to complete tendering questionnaires
• Review training certificates and training matrices usually required for tendering purposes
• 6 monthly review meetings
• Electronic newsletters with changes in legislation, news, etc.
• Advice on the phone when you need it

How much to employ MBHS as my competent person?

£1,250 + VAT
