Mobile Access Towers Training Course

Who this course is aimed at:

Any site based employee who is responsible for the safe working of mobile tower platforms including its erection, moving and means of use.

Course objectives/key benefits:

• Use accident prevention and control
• Appreciate the need to protect personnel
• Understand the correct procedures to safely erect, move and dismantle mobile access towers.

• Tower categories and structural parts
• Legislation
• Risk Assessments and safe systems of work
• Pre-use inspections, care and maintenance
• Safe erection, moving and dismantling methods and hazards
• Tower inspection criteria and tagging systems
• Practical training - erecting and dismantling a typical tower

Training method:

Seminar including practical and group work.

Course outcome/qualification:

MB Safety Training certificate that is valid for 1 year.

Pre-requisite knowledge/qualification:

All delegates should be in the possession of the correct personal protective equipment (safety footwear, hard hat, gloves, etc.) in order to be able to carry out the practical sessions.
