Health and Safety Support for Schools

Making Schools Safer, Increasing Pupil Awareness

With a proven track record of working alongside head teachers, business managers and leadership teams, MBHS will take away the stress and responsibility of meeting your health & safety requirements. We will create a positive health & safety culture throughout your school, with a minimum of disruption

“MBHS offer a fantastic service that I would highly recommend. I feel that a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders with regard to all aspects of health and safety. They produce comprehensive reports that are of a very high standard, that inform Governing Bodies and OFSTED Inspectors of my school’s health and safety practice.”

Inclusive health and safety for primary schools and junior schools start from £1400 per year. Find out more today!

What do we do?

Quite simply we do the work for you, allowing the head teacher and business manager to concentrate on other parts of their roles.
All of our team meet full safeguarding requirements, hold Enhanced CRB checks, have NEBOSH qualifications and are members of IOSH.

Training

Our list of training programmes is extensive and includes:

  • Fire Marshalling
  • Fire Awareness
  • Paediatric First Aid
  • Food Hygiene
  • Manual Handling
  • Working at Height
  • Risk Assessment Training (for staff to allow teaching of pupils to complete their own assessments)
  • We can carry out RIDDOR (The Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 1995), liaise with HSE, EHO and Fire Officers.
  • Provide a health and safety law poster and any signage.
  • We also assist in helping pupils assess and manage risk appropriately and keep themselves and others safe from hazards like roads, water, railways, substance misuse and fire.

What makes MBHS different?

We are hands-on and will undertake and manage your health and safety issues for you.

Unlike other health, safety and environmental consultancies our service agreement is on a 28-day termination contract – no lengthy tie-ins.

We will tailor-make your service (all buildings and staff requirements are unique) and we will act on your behalf, against challenges from HSE, EHO, insurers or even your own employees.
